On December 4th,2019 we had a presentation and workshop, at Avgoustinos pottery, on the art of culture and pottery for the development of tourism.
There was a review of the importance of the art of pottery in Cyprus in ancient times and how it placed Cyprus on the map of cultural heritage with artworks that are still kept in the most important museums in Europe
The perspective of the development of the art of pottery for tourism and other inventive or innovative ideas of young persons were discussed including the promotion and sustainability of cultural heritage
There was a presentation of the art of angioplasty while Mr.Avgoustinos taught the attendees (CCYF volunteers, mentors and youth) the basic techniques of using clay, giving them the opportunity to create their own small pieces of artworks.
